First of many

I am 24 with only a few months until I turn 25! I'm super excited for that!

This past year has been a roller coaster, to say the least. I just "celebrated" my second year being married, however, my husband, Steve, and I are no longer living together. Our story is extremely complicated and has been just another stressful reason for this year being extremely tough. I am thankful, however, for all of the good and the bad because it has helped make me the strong person that I am today! I thank God for that as well!

I've also recently had some interesting information "rock my world" and i'm learning to cope with it in the best way that I can. I am a strong, independent young woman with a lot of potential, however, none of it would be possible without the love and guidance of Jesus Christ. I am thankful each day that I can call him Father and know that even in my loneliest of days I have Him to love and care for me no matter who I've been.

"Courage is my healing" is a blog I wanted to create in order to help regulate my life. I find comfort in writing and find it best to come in handy during stressful situations where my brain is often times working faster than my words are able to pronunciate. So, I've learned to let my fingers do most of the talking. It is my wish to inspire others and to help encourage others struggling through the day-to-day of just "going through the motions".

The idea of "Courage is my healing" is to write about God and my testimony. He is my strength. He is my courage and He is my everything. I simply wouldn't be as strong or independent or blessed with such gifts if it weren't for Him. I want this blog to reflect the work He's done and continues to do within me.

With loving intentions,
Katie
